Aveson's Mutual Aid Program

Families Helping Families

Thank you so much for donating to Families Helping Families, the Aveson community's mutual aid program. Your donation will help us support Aveson families going through difficult times. All donations are welcome, but small monthly donations are especially helpful; regular contributions help build a stable fund from which we can offer not only crisis relief, but ongoing programs like regular grocery deliveries. With your kindness, we hope to help ensure that families in our community never feel that going through difficulty alone.

Families Helping Families was founded by Aveson parent Erin Hearne Williams during the pandemic, and Erin guided the ACO in quickly expanding on her work to help our community after the Eaton Fire. Today, Families Helping Families continues, still supporting fire recovery while also helping families facing significant challenges. Our work is a labor of love, supported by the kindness of parent and staff volunteers, and the generosity of donors (like—hopefully—you!).

Aveson Community Organization (ACO) is the parent-teacher organization of Aveson Charter Schools. We are a registered non-profit (EIN: 84-3296684) dedicated to serving Aveson's community and supporting its programs. In normal times, this means community activities, fundraisers, and projects that improve community life. At the present, we are also engaged in disaster relief and mutual aid. To contact us, please e-mail aco@aveson.org.
